There goes the end of the great litany of <a href=\"http:\/\/answers.google.com\/answers\/threadview?id=573464\">newspaper readership analyses<\/a> (which varies by country):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <em>Washington Times<\/em>&nbsp;is read by the people&nbsp;who run the country. <\/li>\n<li>The <em>Washington Post<\/em> is read by the people who think they run the country.<\/li>\n<li>The <em>New York Times<\/em> is read by the people who think they ought to run the country.<\/li>\n<li>The <em>Boston Globe<\/em> is read by the people who used to run the country.<\/li>\n<li>The <em>Wall Street Journal<\/em> is read by the people who own the country.<\/li>\n<li><em>USA Today<\/em> is read by the people who are told where to travel by the people who own the country.<\/li>\n<li>The <em>Los Angeles Times<\/em> is read by the people who wouldn&#8217;t mind running the country as long they didn&#8217;t have to leave California.<\/li>\n<li>The <em>Chicago Tribune<\/em> is read by the people who think Harry Carey should run the country.<\/li>\n<li>The <em>National Inquirer<\/em> is read by the people who think Angelina Jolie should run the country.<\/li>\n<li>The <em>Weekly World News<\/em> is read by the people who don&#8217;t care who runs the country, as long as she or he meets regularly with aliens.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s true, dear readers.
