I was wrong. According to the St. Pete Times&#39; reporting,&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.tampabay.com\/news\/pinellas-schools-backing-off-plans-for-mandatory-uniforms\/1131715\">Pinellas is &quot;backing off plans for mandatory uniforms.&quot;<\/a>&nbsp;The school board concluded that the main problem was not the lack of uniform clothing but the lack of decent clothing and is moving in the direction of a modified dress code. Some of it is a bit silly&#8211;I&#39;m not sure why the school board wants collared shirts when girls can probably find low-cut collared shirts, and the problem with boys&#39; clothing isn&#39;t usually with the neck&#8211;but for once a school board appears to have moderated the superintendent&#39;s populist push for uniforms.<\/p>\n<p>To round out my week of wrongness, I am now officially predicting that Christine O&#39;Donnell will win a seat in the U.S. Senate and the Texas Rangers will come back from behind to win the World Series, 5-4. What? The World Series is no longer a best-of-nine affair?
