One pithy bit:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>When theory works\u2014when it leads you to see things about texts and textuality that you\u2019d never seen before\u2014it\u2019s a remarkable thing: you come away thinking, \u201cwell, I\u2019ll never look at rhetorical questions quite the same way again,\u201d or \u201cI\u2019ll never look at drag the same way again,\u201d or (for you Raymond Williams fans out there) \u201cI\u2019ll never think of the word \u2018culture\u2019 in the same way again.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Then B\u00e9rub\u00e9 rips into Baudrillard by discussing when theory doesn&#8217;t work, but you&#8217;ll have to read the entire entry for that passage.
