In rereading the post I just uploaded, I realized some readers may be surprised at the fact no major news organization earned a B or C. That is an artifact of the herd response by media, where most published the teacher names and (bad) data.<\/p>\n
In terms of potential favoritism, I have no personal connection with Gotham Schools staff, though I have corresponded with a few of them over time (in the same way I correspond with other journalists on occasion), and one member of the GS shares a dietary need with my wife (something the staff member occasionally tweets about).
