So Paul Krugman finally saw his "maximum magnum opus," The Theory of Interstellar Trade published by a journal. As long as you understand standard microeconomics equations and the Lorentz time-dilation formula, you'll… oh, wait. You don't really need the Lorentz formulas for this one.
Where he goofed was in the omission of general relativity with the very slim excuse that he doesn't understand it. The fact that he doesn't understand unlikely-to-be-meaningful effects of general relativity in the currently absurd and impractical (not to mention tiny) subfield of interstellar trade economics is beside the point. Obviously we need a correction, and who better to provide it than someone who has expertise in neither general relativity nor economics? Therefore, I will be welcoming coauthors with terminal degrees in the following fields: cultural studies, linguistics, psychology, mass communications, anthropology, management, and art history. The only requirement of the paper is that it address trade in the context of gravity wells and end with a horrific pun.

Hmmm… not having access to the article, does Krugman take into account changes in mass as objects approach the speed of light. I would think that would affect the overall transit time and expenditures.
